While desinging this building, my main idea was to create a distinctive architectural form, serving as an easly recognizable landmark and a characteristic symbol of the new district. Steel mesh was used to unify the form. The construction is based on the four white trusses along the sides of the building. It can be easly seen through the openwork of the rusted corten mesh, and constitutes a main defining element of the building. The Centre is multifunctional and dedicated specialy for the townsfolk of the new Minsk Mazowiecki district. With the cinema, performance and exhibition hall, library, museum and recreation rooms, the new Centre along with the square is creating a unique public space.
