#1 House in Konstancin

A small House designed in Konstancin is a merge of the modern international style and a classical house shape. The sharp contrast between open-space glassing and isolated first floor is the main defining element of this design. The House is covered with the brushed aluminum siding panels.

The interrior is divided into two zones. The open zone on a ground floor comprises a living room linked with a kitchen, and a guest room. It is connected with an exterior terrace and a garden. The whole first floor is a private space, closed and isolated above the open ground floor. The heavy body of the private area supported with steel pillars looks like it was floating above the ground. The flat area of the roof is covered with grass, so as we look through the upper windows we see the green roof merging with the grass of the garden.
